This Saturday the town of Chestertown will welcome Spring and turn on the Hebe fountain in Fountain Park. The family-friendly party is called “Spring Splash” and will run from noon to 2pm with Chestertown mayor Chris Cerino and Hebe, the Greek goddess of youth on the statue who will be portrayed by Melissa McGlynn. The event will also have a moon bounce, face painting, music, popcorn, lemonade, and Papa Smurf’s food truck. There will also be a Spring Cleaning Sale with many stores and restaurants participating.
